2029 Amundson
2029 Amundson (4-4) had a strong showing at the USJN Windy City Classic going 3-1 on the weekend. The team played all 4 games at OAW in New Berlin. On Friday night they battled WI Impact Butts, the team dug a hole early going down 0-8 to start the game but had closed the gap at halftime to 8-10. United led a majority of the 2nd half before falling 22-26. On Saturday we defeated 24:UP Krysiak 56-31 and did a great job of attacking and scoring against a 1-3-1 zone. In our second game Saturday the girls played the best effort of the season in defeating Unstoppable Red (Missouri) 45-40, this was the undefeated team in the pool and forced a 3-way tie at 2-1. A total of 6 girls scored between 6-9 points in a balanced attack. We earned the 2 seed as a result of point differential. On Sunday we played MN Metro Stars and pulled out a tough 28-27 win. Harper Stallings led in scoring (39) and blocks (4), Anna Alton led us in rebounds (17), and Elle Baker led in steals (17)and assists (9).

@alexis_1726 (5'11, 2024) scored a career high 17 vs Clinton on 1/16. Alexis is averaging 9.3 points for Jefferson (7-11, 3-6) which is 2nd on the team. Alexis has yet to commit to play college basketball.
Katie Gillette (5'7, 2024) is averaging 6.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.2 steals, and 2.1 assists. Katie leads conference leading Whitewater (10-6, 6-2) in rebounds and assists on the season.

Amya Pluess (5'7, 2025) missed a couple of games in the middle of the month with an injury but has rejoined the East Troy Trojans (10-10, 6-3) and is averaging 16.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.4 steals, and 1.2 assists.
Aubrie Cherek (5'5, 2026) scored a career high 16 points vs Turner on 1/10. Aubrie is averaging 6.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 2.4 steals for East Troy (10-10, 6-3).
Grace Warborg (5'6, 2027) scored a career high 14 points vs Elkhorn on 1/29. Grace is averaging 5.3 points on the season for Jefferson (7-11, 3-6).

Amya Pluess, pictured above (5'7, 2025) scored 35 points for East Troy (6-5, 5-0) against Monroe on December 14th. She leads the Rock Valley conference in scoring at 18.5 points per game while adding 5.3 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 1.3 assists per game. Amya has put herself in position at the halfway point of the season to be the conference player of the year.
Calli Grosinske (5'7, 2024) is leading the Whitewater Whippets (6-4, 3-2) with 13.8 points per game while adding 4.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. Calli is amongst the leaders in the State with 6.1 steals per game.
Alexis Dobson (5'11, 2024) has finished December strong increasing her scoring average to 9.1 points per game. Alexis has scored season highs in back to back games with 13 versus Waterloo (12/18) and 14 against Turner (12/21).
Kylee Lonigro (5'7, 2024) is averaging 8.8 points, 4 rebounds, 3.6 steals and 2.2 assists per game for the Deerfield Demons (9-1, 5-0).
